Cicada Luxury Townhouses

We extended our Bali trip at the last minute and booked Cicada, and we’re so glad we did. The room was spacious, the bed incredibly comfortable, and our private pool was clean and refreshing. Breakfast delivered to the room was delicious. Every staff member gave us wonderful, welcoming service, and they even supplied a cot for our baby at no charge. We each had a 60-minute massage in the room, easily the best massage we’ve had in Bali. The complimentary airport transfer was a lovely way to finish the stay.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and we had a very good stay with our family. The staff were outstandingly friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. Their service is a big reason we’d consider coming back. Street noise was the main problem for us. The sliding windows are thin, so we could clearly hear people outside and traffic. It often felt as if we were sleeping with the windows open, which affected our sleep. The outdoor bathing setup didn’t add much for us, and we noticed hardly anyone using the open-air bath. The shower in the main bathroom also felt too exposed to use comfortably or privately in the evening. A more enclosed or covered design would make it more practical and private, and would help keep mosquitoes from getting into the bedroom through the bathroom. With better sound insulation and some reconsideration of the outdoor bathing areas, I think the guest experience could be truly excellent.

Cicada was a perfect start to our Bali holiday. The townhouse was stylish, spacious, quiet, and private, with the beach, shops, and restaurants an easy walk away. We loved the full-size private pool, which gets sun all day. Breakfast was amazing, delivered each morning and set on the dining table at the time we chose. We also ordered room service a couple of times, and it was delicious. The kitchen’s water bottle filter and coffee capsule machine were great, and there were lots of lovely little touches around the apartment. The staff were friendly, professional, and respectful, always happy to see us. Airport pickup was stress-free and the ride was comfortable. We’d have been happy to stay longer and would love to come back.

The staff were so attentive and friendly that our family holiday felt even better, and the hotel arranged a lot for us. We got a complimentary massage, dinner with several menu choices, and airport pickup and drop-off. They also offered rides anywhere in Seminyak. When we ordered food online, staff brought it right to our villa. We stayed in a three-bedroom villa with a private pool. It felt spacious, clean, fragrant, and welcoming as soon as we walked in. The bedrooms were large, with semi-outdoor bathrooms. I loved soaking in the tub under the blue sky in the daytime and looking at the stars at night. Breakfast was ordered from a menu and delivered to our villa, set out neatly on the dining table. The property itself isn't large, but we were very satisfied with the service.
