Hotel O Slawi Near Alun- Alu Slawi Formerly Boarding Inn

The service was quite good.

The listed app price didn’t match what I was charged. I was told to pay extra, and the place had lots of patches with paint peeling off.

I paid Rp46,000 through the app, expecting that to be the room price, but once I reached the inn, far from Tegal city, they asked for another Rp54,000. The receptionist said there weren’t any hotels for Rp54,000 and that they all cost over Rp100,000. If the room actually cost Rp100,000, that should have been clear in the app so people could plan and bring enough money. The booking price and the amount requested on arrival don’t match, and that feels like a scam to me. A Rp100,000 hotel in Tegal city, by Pacific mall and the main road, would also be closer and more convenient, with air-conditioned rooms. I’m giving one star in the hope the owner and future guests take this as a lesson. Please read my experience before deciding to stay. Thanks for listening.

I paid through the app, but when I got there, they said the place was full and I’d have to wait about two hours, with no guarantee. I couldn’t cancel. The price issue is pretty simple: if customers need a room, they’ll book it without marketing tricks. Then they arrive and get asked to pay again. This was the worst place I’ve ever been to.
