The quiet setting gave me the rest I needed after two weeks of nonstop family events with relatives visiting from Macedonia. I wanted somewhere cozy with greenery, a pool, and no rushing around. At about $20 a night, I wasn't expecting luxury, and the peaceful, out-of-city location suited me. Still, the place has a lot of potential, and it feels like even small improvements haven't been made. Basic things were missing: there was no bathroom floor towel, hand soap, or body lotion, and the towels provided were basically smelly rags. The room had no fridge, the AC blew straight at the bed with no temperature adjustment, one outlet didn't work, and the sink was clogged. The bathroom has no raised edge, so shower water runs into the room. You also have to request cleaning or fresh towels; housekeeping doesn't happen on its own. Staff timing was very poor. I asked for breakfast for my 11-month-old baby and was told they were busy with catering orders, so breakfast couldn't be served until after 9 a.m. They eventually agreed to make a scrambled egg and a scoop of rice. On the final morning, the bar wasn't open at 8 a.m. for coffee or breakfast. I got the calm and relaxation I came for, but the missing basics were frustrating. The place only met my expectations because I expected little for the price. Without even minimal investment or proper staff training, its potential will keep going to waste. That last morning I ordered from Gojek, and the food and coffee got to me faster than the hotel could manage. Says it all. 🤣
A spacious outdoor venue surrounded by nature, with a fresh, relaxing atmosphere. The garden worked well for kids to play and for a family gathering. Staff were helpful, and the facilities were well maintained. With decorations, clowns, and mascots, the birthday celebration felt lively and fun for children. Asram Edupark is a good place for a birthday and a memorable family celebration in Jogja.
Hidden away in nature, with tasty food and affordable prices. You'll enjoy the rooms, meals, and views.
The pool looked nice among the trees, with the cottages in view, and the area felt cool and comfortable. It's a quiet place, and we spent some time walking around inside and outside in the morning. The playground needs maintenance; it looked abandoned. There's also a small event building near our room, and a meeting was just starting when we checked out. I noticed at the front desk during my walk that you may be able to order food or drinks there. We booked through the app after comparing OTAs and got the best deal, even with room only. Maps made the place easy to find. At evening check-in, we were a bit unsure about the desk; a front desk employee asked for ID and a Rp.50.000 room deposit, then only pointed us toward the room without explaining anything else, which was okay. The room was spacious with large twin beds. Towels, amenities, and an electric kettle were provided, but there was only one cup and no teaspoon. The toilet was clean but a little smelly. We could sit on the terrace and enjoy the surroundings.
The welcoming atmosphere put me at ease right away. Both staff and other guests added to the friendly vibe, making it feel like a place where everyone could feel at home.
