The staff were still as friendly as ever, and the service was excellent. That's why I hope Bedjo Homestay will take the condition of the place seriously. I love its concept and the people, and I used to count it as a favorite after staying there three times before the pandemic. I came back last June for some nostalgia, but things had changed for the worse. I know the property may be getting older, yet it needs major improvements. In Room 101 near the pool, water leaked from the bathroom toilet, the refrigerator smelled awful and didn't work, the floor was a little dirty, and the curtains were dirty too. There were rusted metal parts everywhere, and the walls clearly showed their age. See you again when I see you.

I liked the mezzanine design, and the upstairs area had plenty of space. The place is tucked away and quiet, though it needs more cleaning in several corners and feels a bit dusty. The bed and bathroom were super clean, and the water heater worked really well. The AC needs cleaning: even set to 16°C, it only blew hot air. If your room is near the pool, kids swimming can make mornings loud. There are lots of places to eat within walking distance, and it's very close to UGM and the main road.

The price is very affordable, and you can stay here for a longer visit too. It feels like home, with a quiet setting away from the big road. My first visit left a great impression. The room is simple but unique, with what I think is the best homestay design. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended.

After the long drive from Jakarta via the toll road, we spent our first night here. We took a wrong route because the place is tucked away, but it was quiet and nice once we arrived. The interior looked very stylish and modern, although parking space was limited. Breakfast was fine, just two pieces of fried chicken with watermelon juice. There was only one AC outlet, on the second floor, but it was still okay for cooling the room.
