I arrived at night after booking through Oyo, only to be told at reception that they no longer worked with online booking apps and couldn’t honor my reservation. They said I’d have to pay the regular rate to stay. I called the owner too, and got the same response. Yet the property was still showing deals and promotions on several booking apps.

The rooms are lovely, and the service is friendly. This place really is a hidden gem. One issue is that prices shown in the Oyo app can be quite different from what you’re charged, which is a real drawback for the people running the inn. I’d suggest contacting the owners directly for the best price and to support the small business. The amenities are worth it.

I paid for a room I’d booked through OYO, but when I arrived they told me the rooms were full. Yet I could see empty rooms with keys hanging outside the doors. I’d avoid booking this property online. Don’t be drawn in by the nice photos and low rates, because after you’ve booked and paid, cancellation isn’t possible.
