A broad grassy garden gives the villa a roomy feel, with greenery all around. I stayed here a few weeks ago and loved how quiet it was. The pendopo, a traditional Indonesian wooden structure, was especially calming and felt authentic. It has 7 rooms and a private kitchen area. I enjoyed sitting there in the morning with tea and fresh air, and the garden's good for walking barefoot, relaxing, or taking photos. A lovely choice for a peaceful break among nature and tradition.

A good option for a brief stop away from the city center. Some of the facilities could use an update, though, to make the stay more comfortable.

We were exhausted and just wanted to sleep, but the three rooms we'd booked through Traveloka were already full. There was no hotel manager around, only a guard who came across as unprofessional, and there didn't seem to be a reception either. We were told to book another hotel, and the one suggested had a bad rating. After reading reviews for Carla Garden Hotel, I found someone describing the same experience. It made me suspect the guard might have been involved in a scam.

I wouldn't recommend it. When we arrived, they said they were full and put us in another villa for the night, a place with nothing at all. At 6:30 in the morning they were already pestering us to get up because they'd take us somewhere. The room we were later assigned didn't match the photos, and the bathroom was completely rotten. We packed our things and left for another place.
