Chrissant Hotel

The room was extremely dirty and full of mould, and there were big ants and fat cockroaches too. We saw them running across the room after arriving past midnight. When we turned on the light, they ran under the bed, where most of them hid during the day and became active in the evening. We even found ants under the pillow. It was too late to find somewhere else, so although we'd booked three nights, we had to stay one. We trusted the positive reviews and were very disappointed. We believe the hotel manipulates reviews on booking and even here. After we complained, they blocked me on booking so I couldn't post a review there. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

The food has a Javanese flavor, which gives you a taste of Yogyakarta's atmosphere. The room is minimalist in size and seems suitable for different kinds of tourists, whether you're a traveller or backpacker. I found it a good enough place to get comfortable, quality rest in Jogja. If you're staying in Jogja for a few days, I'd suggest adding it to your itinerary. Enjoy Jogja! 👌🏻

The receptionist was really friendly. The room seemed quite new and clean, the hot water had good flow, and the air con worked well. There's also a small balcony where you can smoke.

I found the hotel comfortable, clean, and worth the price. Its location in the city is strategic, though it needs more parking space to fit the vehicles coming in. Good luck, Chrissant Hotel. 😊
