The bakery was incredible, and I loved the Toraja decor. Bravo for Mug! 👍👍👍 The cafe was playing music that didn't fit, though. Maybe Toraja tribal lounge music or coffee jazz lounge would suit it better. The big fan was distracting too. It took 22 minutes to get one cheese cake, one latte, and one longblack, with only four other people in the cafe besides us. The longblack had no crema. Maybe it was made more like an americano, or maybe it was the roast profile or beans that weren't fresh. The cheesecake was way too sweet, and I couldn't tell what kind of cheese was in it. I think cheesecake should stick a bit to the roof of your mouth. My wife finished it 🤣 Jogja really is slow living, and the service is slow too.

The staff were really friendly, and the cafe is big and clean, with plenty of room to breathe even when there are 50 customers. There's lots on the menu, from coffee to meals, with a focus on Toraja Coffee. You can also stay at the homestay for a really cheap price, and there's a pool on the second floor. Basement parking is spacious. Definitely a place I'd recommend visiting.

If you need somewhere to stay, it's about 20 USD per night here. I also met the owner, “mas George,” who is enthusiastic and passionate about coffee, and very friendly. He explained it in a way that felt familiar and easy to follow. Try their own “Pulu Pulu” coffee, served with snacks from Toraja. They even bring the snacks in from their place of origin.

The menu has plenty of variety, with Western options as well as Native Torayan Food. It's a nice place to chill with friends, enjoy the moment, or even get some work done. For me, this is the best escape near Condong Catur. If they had a pet-friendly area for cats and dogs, it would be the perfect escape. Never Stop Sharing.

The coffee is excellent, the food is delicious, and the place feels cozy and gives you something to think about. The owner can tell you all about the coffee. They also have a meeting room and homestay.
