Eastparc Hotel Yogyakarta

This was our third stay here with the kids, and they were happy the whole time. There are lots of facilities made especially for children, so it’s a very kid-friendly hotel. Check-in went smoothly, thanks especially to Ivan at the front desk. We got to check in an hour early and were given a room with the best view over the pool. We’ll definitely come back next time!

The water parks were the highlight. My children just wanted to keep playing there 😄 Heavy rain made us decide to have dinner at the hotel. We ordered Western food since the kids love pasta, and everything was incredibly delicious. The pasta, chicken barbecue, and veggie salad all got our approval 🥰 Maybe the jelly could have some milk added, or be changed to chocolate pudding, so the kids and we would enjoy it more. Mr. Rizal helped us during dinner and was so hospitable, attentive, and helpful. Thank you for the wonderful service, Mr. Rizal. We’ll definitely be back!

The staff were kind and helpful, especially Mas Ibrahim at reception. He gave us useful information about hotel facilities and things to find in Yogyakarta. The breakfast was delicious, though there wasn’t much variety. We had a great family staycation. The room was spacious, and thoughtful touches included a semi-private balcony, a kids’ mattress in every room, and childproof corners on the bedside tables.

The children’s play facilities are so plentiful and fun that one night didn’t feel like enough. My daughter was thrilled to discover how many pools she could use, and the location is convenient. The building itself feels old, though, and the room lighting wasn’t very good. The restaurant chairs are arranged in a way that makes it hard to move around. Guests getting food can end up disturbing others, so the seating layout could use a rethink.
