It’s a bit far from Solo Highway and sits in a fairly busy housing complex, but the place is clean and lovely, with pleasant air for an early bike ride. The modern Javanese style, including carved wooden furniture, gives it a homely feel, like returning to your grandmother’s house. Hot water is available for a proper bath. There’s a shared kitchen for heavier cooking, plus a dining table, which makes it handy for large families and children who want to cook for themselves. You can gather inside or outside, and there’s a spacious yard.

The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. There’s plenty of parking, and you can borrow a bicycle to ride around near the homestay. I’ll come back.

The bathroom drain was blocked and left an unpleasant smell. I told the woman on duty and asked for swallow balls or some fragrance, but they didn’t provide anything.

We booked two rooms, both beautiful and roomy, and the owner and staff gave us lovely service. They were warm, smiling, and friendly. The place also had a gazebo, hot water, cold AC, a large yard, and bicycles for riding around the complex. Just amazing.

We booked four rooms, and they were clean and felt very homey. The sound of the water made everything relaxing and pleasant. One night felt far too short.
