The pool and playground always give my kids something new to enjoy whenever we return. We come back from time to time to spend time together, and my husband, the kids, and the rest of my family all love staying here. Kampung Lawasan Cottage is so unique and cozy that I happily tell people I meet about it.

The food is amazing, and I was very happy with both the room and the service. It's one of the coziest places in Jogja for the price. There are warm pools for adults and kids, plus a playground and open space. I'll definitely be back.

The wooden walls and roof have a few open gaps, so air and sound get through. Better weather and soundproofing might help guests feel more comfortable and cut down on the electric bills. Still, we had a pretty good stay. The room was cozy and a decent size, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the location was decent, fairly close to the main road. The warm water pool is small but usable. The place leans into nostalgia and a romanticized past, with the room styled like an old school kampung house. We might stay again sometime.

The room felt spacious and homey, and the quiet setting has a nice Javanese atmosphere. Parking was fairly roomy, and there's a pool too. Sound carries through the all-wood interior, but it was still tolerable. Had a great time and would definitely come back.

The hotel has a nice ethnic Javanese feel. I found the room didn't cool down quickly, though. It would also be easier if the room key and electricity key were separate, since going in and out several times isn't very convenient with them together. And one pillow for one person seems a bit too few.
