I arrived to find there were no rooms, even though I'd paid 390,000 Rupiah through the Traveloka app. I tried to get a refund, but the app wouldn't let me, and the owner took no responsibility. This hurts other customers too.

I booked six rooms for my extended family through Tokep, paying six days early because places tend to fill up over a long weekend. We ended up scrambling for somewhere to stay that night. We were shocked to learn the inn was full, and I later found out other people had the same problem. On the day we were due to arrive, we tried to ask about parking and a few other details, but replies came very slowly. A friend in Yogyakarta eventually helped us. I went back the next morning and spoke to a man wearing a mask. He said he was in charge but knew nothing about the guests. He said the inn used a third party, and when we tried to contact him, he said he used Telegram, so we couldn't reach him directly. He was irresponsible. I'm sorry to post this, but I don't want anyone else getting scammed. I hope others will be more careful. This was a lesson for me.

I've been staying here for about three months during my student exchange at UGM, and the landlord has always been kind and friendly. Whenever I brought a room issue to him, he got it sorted, and I wasn't charged extra for things like refilling the AC's freon. The first thing I noticed when I arrived was that the room could have been cleaner. Once I cleaned it myself, it felt much more comfortable. For complaints, I need to speak to the landlord directly, since the security guard doesn't follow up.
