The calm setting made it a good place to rest after days out, and the host was friendly. I stayed for 2 nights with my wife and kids. The place was nice and clean, and it suits travelers on a budget. There isn't a dedicated parking area, so we had to leave the car on the street outside the house. The road is wide enough for 3 cars. Prambanan and Borobudur are good options from here, and the ring road is quite close and reachable on foot. You can also rent a motor cycle here.

For the price it wasn't bad, but the room for three came with just one bed and a sofa. That sofa was awful, I couldn't sleep on it or even sit comfortably. I asked for another bed and was told it would cost 45rb extra. Since I'd already paid for three people, I pushed back, and after some bargaining they gave it to us for free. Still, the service felt like they didn't care about guests.

Really uncomfortable and disappointing. The standard room was dirty, and there were lots of bed bugs in the bed.

For IDR 160k a night, the price was nice. The room had a double bed, shower, AC, free Wi-Fi, and breakfast. It's a little far from Malioboro, and check-in time is strict.
