We stayed for about 1.5 months, and it was comfortable and enjoyable overall. The price was affordable, the rooftop was fantastic with a pool and a charming little sky garden, and the spacious, aesthetic sky café was lovely. We had hoped to work there during the day, so it was disappointing that it only opened at 4 p.m., though all the nearby cafés meant it wasn't a major problem. Thanks to Apartku Jogja for arranging our stay. We'd definitely come back. The location was excellent, within walking distance of gyms, restaurants, cafés, and other conveniences. The room had a working A/C, a TV with Netflix, a roomy fridge, and an electric stove. There were some problems. The chair was so cheap and unstable that it felt ready to break and was too uncomfortable to use. There also weren't enough kitchen outlets. Only two were available for the stove, extractor, and fridge, so we had to unplug the fridge while cooking to avoid risking the smoke alarm. We ended up buying an extension lead. The bathroom needed attention too. The shower had no curtain, and a gap under the glass panel opposite the shower head let water spread everywhere and potentially leak into the room if we weren't careful. Hot water turned cold after about five minutes. I found it tolerably tepid, but my wife often had to switch off the shower and wait for the temperature control to reset (?) before it heated properly again. The window blind didn't really work, and being on the 7th floor meant the room got painfully bright from as early as 6 a.m. We even thought about buying black fabric to block the sun. The lobby convenience store's hours were unclear: its light was often on and the sign said “Buka,” but the door was locked. Near the end of our stay, the shop seemed to disappear without warning, making gallon containers of water harder to buy. The post system was disorganized, with deliveries in random piles. Whenever we asked about our post, staff had to sift through everything by hand. A working blackout blind, 1-2 more outlets or a provided extension lead, fixes for the hot water and glass panel, and a sturdier, more comfortable chair would improve the room.
