Prima Sr Hotel & Convention

It’s easy to find, right beside the Jogja Magelang road, and there’s plenty of parking for both two-wheelers and cars. That makes it a favorite for events. The meeting hall is quite grand and spacious, and the hotel and inns are right next to the road. It’s a comfortable, spacious place where people can feel at home. Meetings, employee examinations, lectures, and weddings are often held here.

The location is strategic and the service is good, though the hotel itself is pretty standard. The room didn’t meet my expectations, with little in the way of a view or amenities. Too bad I didn’t see the sky lounge.

I’m really disappointed that the ballroom doesn’t seem to be soundproofed. I’d been staying here since the day before, and there was a wedding, but it didn’t go late at night, so that was fine. Now I can’t sleep because of the noise from the New Year’s party, which seemed to be held by the staff. Hotel guests who are trying to sleep deserve some consideration, even on New Year’s.

The Superior King was quite nice, but the WiFi didn’t reach the top floor. The Business Twin rooms are down in the basement, right by the parking area, so they can be noisy in the morning. In the bathroom you get an all-in-one soap, shampoo, and conditioner.
