Hotel Asih has improved. It’s cleaner now, and the staff are very friendly.

The big draw here is the location, right in front of Jl Colombo and close to UGM, UNY, and Panti Rapih hospital. The old interior, beds, and furniture still work normally, even if they look worn. Room 201 had an air-conditioning issue, with water dripping from the fan and wetting the floor. Repairs took half an hour, so I had to wait outside the room. Staff didn’t offer another room and seemed to lack empathy. If you just need somewhere to sleep near UGM or UNY, you could consider it. For me, a fair rate is 100rb to 150rb. If it costs more, I’d look elsewhere.

I couldn’t stay long with a toilet in that condition. The cleanliness was really bad, especially in the bathroom. The hotel looks old, and the walls are cracking. I saw lots of cockroaches in my room and even outside it.
