I booked this hotel through agoda for two days, but when I arrived, it turned out to be fully booked. The staff wouldn’t offer any kind of reimbursement. They said they’d forgotten who had access to the email linked to their agoda account, and wouldn’t acknowledge the payment that had somehow gone through. The main fault lies with agoda, but the hotel still has an active account there and is currently offering discounts. That could lead people to pay for a room that doesn’t exist.

The pool is roomy and indoors, which makes it convenient for a swim. The shower room, though, is so tiny that I’m sweating again by the time I’ve showered and gotten dressed.

I like this straightforward pool. It’s pretty big and outdoors, but the roof gives us shade from the sun.

The price is affordable and the service was satisfying. It’s a little way from the main road, but the sign makes it easy to find. It’s also included in Airy Rooms.

There’s plenty of parking, and the indoor pool is handy for travellers. The price is reasonable, and if you’re lucky you can see Merapi Volcano. It’s at the end of the alley.
