The photos tell you what it’s like. I’m unhappy with the place, and I couldn’t get a refund. There was an employee whose job seemed to be just switching the lights on and off. My mom and sister didn’t even come here for service. Read this before booking, especially through Agoda, so you don’t get scammed.

We decided to leave and find somewhere else after seeing the condition of the place. We arrived around 10 in the morning, left our bags, and went to eat. When we came back, the guard let us into the room even though it was only noon. Nobody asked for ID when I checked in. The bathroom was very dirty, and the toilet looked as if it had never been cleaned. I asked the guard if anyone else would be coming, and he said lots of people would arrive and it would be full through Sunday. I checked in on Thursday, so that reassured me a little. But after I fell asleep and woke at 4:30, the guard was gone. It was just me and my husband at the inn, so we chose to leave. I’d also asked the manager for a refund, but was told I couldn’t get one. 😭😭😭 If the inn is no longer fit to use, they should close it. I feel sorry for other people who could end up in the same situation. We came for a vacation, not to test our courage. 😭

I got my money back after contacting the new guard, thankfully. I arrived at 7 p.m. to find the hotel dark and apparently abandoned, with no guard or anyone else there, all the lights off, the gate wide open, and the reception area dark. Agoda doesn’t list an admin number. They should at least close the place instead of leaving guests stranded. A security guard at the neighboring housing complex told me the guards were changing and gave me the former guard’s address. Luckily, he was willing to share the new guard’s number. Imagine being there alone. 😭🥹 Please sort this out. I feel sorry for everyone who’s already booked and arrives to find the hotel empty. 🥲

Once the night receptionist showed up, I decided to stay, but arriving was unsettling. It was around 8 p.m., dark and quiet, with nobody at the gate. A sign said the receptionist was out and guests should contact the listed WA number, come in and out, and lock the gate again. My wife and children were scared. I wanted a refund but couldn’t get one. I called the number and told them it felt unethical to arrive and find no host. They said a night shift receptionist would come and that I could go into my booked room. Since it was already 9 p.m., I went in. It was a new place to me, dark and quiet, with only one other guest, which made me paranoid. After about an hour and a half of unpacking, I stepped out for air and was startled to see someone at reception, right beside my room. I couldn’t figure out how he’d come in unnoticed, since my gate was locked and he had a motorbike, which should have made some noise. He immediately questioned me like a police officer, haha. Maybe the owner being in Bogor means there’s not much supervision. The place looked neglected and dirty, even though they said it was built in 2019. It was nothing special. The bathroom floor needed scrubbing, and the heater wouldn’t turn on because the electricity tripped. Still, it was okay for one night’s rest.
