For the price, I had a really enjoyable stay. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and both the AC and shower were okay. The AC isn't very powerful, so switch it on early. The service was the best part: I felt welcomed and cared for, and they gave me recommendations. Breakfast was great, with rice porridge, egg, chicken, dry stuff, and vegetables. The coffee and wedang were great too. Don't expect a five-star hotel, but the value is incredible.

I love everything about this place and would definitely stay again if I return to Jogja. The food was so good that I felt like royalty eating there, and the breakfast and late-night snacks were great too. The staff and cooks were lovely and helpful. They helped my mom carry bags to and from the second floor, gave us great information, and handled requests quickly. The laundry was fast and smelled so good for days. The location was super convenient for my conference at Sanata Dharma university, just a seven-minute walk away, and close to cool cafes, UNY, and beauty and skincare shops. A few suggestions from my stay: I loved the breakfast, but as someone with GERD, I'd prefer fewer fried items. The stairs have a few subtle level changes that could trip families up, so maybe the hotel could add scotlight band to them. The bathroom floor is very slippery. In my deluxe room, the toilet and washbasin were close together, so watch your head. And hehehe, could the cafe stay open really late? Some friends wanted to eat there very late after the conference.

The breakfast was really good and made up for a few small room issues. The room was pretty small, the hot water didn't feel hot enough, and the door was a bit tricky to open when locked from outside. Nothing too serious, though. The location is a real plus, with Sebelas Coffee, Journey Coffee, Jatinangor House for takeaway, and Sushi Tei all just a short walk away.

My first stay here was perfect, but the second one wasn't. Because it was the “lebaran” holiday season, I paid nearly twice the usual price. At night, the electricity went out for about an hour. They said there was a small problem, but the technician wasn't “stand by”. With the AC and lights off, we couldn't rest comfortably or get much done, and we ended up short on sleep. Not every room was affected, but mine was one of the unlucky ones. I didn't get an apology for the inconvenience, even by checkout. Breakfast that morning was so-so, though the staff were friendly.
