The breakfast was nice, and you can ask for steamed sweet potatoes and cassava freshly harvested from the yard. This is a good place to get away from the big city, though it gets a bit dark at night. The parking is separate from the lodge, so unload your bags first and then park. Some staff will help carry them to your room.

I got some really good rest here, surrounded by quiet and the sounds of nature. It's such a peaceful place to unwind and take a break. Should've come sooner. 10 out of 10, highly recommend ✅

If you want to get away from the city and crowds, this place has a quiet setting. We checked in during the day, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. Our room was spacious, with three single beds that could be pushed together, but it had a lot of oddly placed furniture that wasn't useful. There's no AC, though the nights were chilly enough that it wasn't a problem. I wouldn't choose it for WFH or WFA because the Wi-Fi barely worked. There were ants on the bed, and both my eight-month-old son and I woke up with blisters. Nobody collected the rubbish or used plates, so chickens and cats got to the leftovers. The food was overpriced. The staff were very friendly and helpful, but the room upkeep felt really poor. Eco-friendly doesn't mean dirty.

For a meal surrounded by rice fields, with tasty, healthy vegetarian food and beautiful scenery, you should visit here. If the sky is clear, Mount Merapi is right in front of your dining table. Truly amazing 👍👍
