What a disappointment. After a long journey, we arrived at one of our destinations excited to shower and rest, only to discover the hotel was being renovated. Nobody had told us, and they hadn’t arranged another place to stay. The staff member on duty couldn’t speak English. Luckily, our taxi driver was incredibly helpful and assisted us with booking another hotel and getting our money back. Without him, the whole situation would have been a disaster.

The location is the one drawback, but everything else was really nice. It’s good for families or business travelers, with cheap rates and a lot to like. Breakfast was delivered to our room each day, the room designs were really nice, and there’s a shared kitchen on the second floor plus a tea and coffee station on the third. It felt like rental housing done in a more luxurious way. I’d recommend it.

The parking area is quite small, so on weekends or during holiday periods there’s a chance you won’t be able to park inside. Even if you do, you may have to park parallel to another car. During our weekday stay, people next door played dangdut music very loudly through a powerful speaker beside our window, starting at 7 am. Thankfully, they didn’t play it on Sunday morning. We stayed four days and three nights. The room was okay and fairly clean at first, and the bathroom was fine, but on our last night cockroaches were roaming around the room. My partner killed one, so we could sleep peacefully.

The room and toilet my friends and I used were clean, and the Wi-Fi worked fine. Guests can use the pantry freely, and there’s a large table there too, so I thought the price was fair for the facilities. One suggestion: check the room sinks regularly. The sink in ours was broken.
