Prima made our stay at Temple Homestay such a good one. He’s a relaxed, kind-hearted guy with a lovely family, knows a lot about the area, and nothing ever seemed to be a problem for him. We had a really chilled-out stay. Thanks, Prima!
At this homestay you feel like part of the family, and get to experience the city and surrounding area more like a local. It’s one of the best places we’ve stayed.

Tika, the owner, is lovely and very helpful. The place is clean, but there isn’t much sunlight in the rooms and the bathrooms have no ventilation.
The food was authentic and delicious, and the host was super nice and helpful. A really good place to stay in Yogyakarta. I’ll definitely come back to The Temple!
