Comfortable Studio at Patraland Amarta Apartment

I really appreciated kak Ani and kak Surya, especially when I realized I'd left a gift at the apartment on my way to the train station. I asked kak Surya to bring it to the station, and they handled it really well. They were helpful and communicated well throughout my stay. The location is nice, close to lots of markets, restaurants, and cafes. I stayed 9 days and 8 nights, and the room was clean with plenty of amenities. The host made check-in and communication easy, and was quick to respond whenever I needed help. I also liked how clean and well kept the amenities were. The pool was great for a refreshing swim, and the gym had the equipment I needed for a quick workout. The apartment itself was peaceful, clean, nicely furnished, and felt like a home away from home. The bed was really comfortable too. A lovely, relaxing stay, and I'd come back. The place is comfortable and convenient, so I'd recommend it.

For the price, this is a decent rental, and the apartment complex itself has useful facilities. There’s a supermarket/general store and an ATM right across from the building. The main lobby has laundry and a small convenience store, and the front desk will photocopy documents for free. Staff were extremely polite and helpful. Some speak English, and the others still do their best to assist. Bike and car parking are free, and there’s a prayer room in the basement. The place is a long way from the city center, so I’d suggest renting a motorbike. My main problems were with my unit and its landlord. It was barely cleaned, if it was cleaned at all. Every surface was very dusty, and under the couch I found paper, dead insects, and other random things. The bathroom mirror and shower glass were caked with limescale, and the mirror didn't have proper lighting. The stove's glass was cracked, hidden under a cloth, and an underpowered induction stove had been put on top. The water dispenser neither cooled nor heated water, and the landlord wasn't clear about when it would be fixed. I had to take off another star after finding what may be bedbugs or fleas in the bed. I'm not sure which, but I've been bitten at least four different times.

Free parking, plus there's a laundry, cafe, mini market, and restaurant downstairs. A great spot for a staycation.
