The restaurant was the highlight for me: Hotel Padang served the best food I’d had in over a month on the road. The breakfast buffet was included, very good, and different each morning during my four days there. The staff made the stay, too. They were friendly, helpful, and seemed to care about guests and enjoy their jobs. There were plenty of attentive employees, plus a couple of security staff, probably the best security I’d seen in a while. For Timor, the facilities were decent value for the price.

The staff were really friendly, and the location is right in the centre of Soe. My room was spacious, airy, and clean, with hot water that actually worked. Don't expect anything luxurious. There's a pleasant shared balcony with wide countryside views. An okay Padang restaurant is next door, and that's where breakfast is served.

I stayed here for six days. The receptionist was really friendly, and they cleaned my room and changed my towel every day. Breakfast was tasty, with Padang dishes like rendang and fish soup with chilli. If you visit Soe, this hotel is worth considering. Pick a room on the second floor for a nice view.

The staff are super nice, but this building needs major renovation. There’s mold in the rooms and no sinks in the bathrooms. The hotel may not make it without proper work being done soon.

The room was clean, spacious, and had a nice interior, and it’s affordable. Breakfast was delicious, too. Just so you know, the hotel doesn't sell alcohol.
