Pranaya Boutique Hotel

The shower is nice and the bathroom is fine, but the rooms are plain and have little character. For the price, I expected better quality.

The service was good, but the noise from the neighboring building carries over. They have live music until midnight, so you may not sleep well. I wouldn't recommend it for business travelers.

Breakfast had a great range of choices, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. We were here for a conference nearby; though it’s a little away from the busy area, we enjoyed the stay. The rooms were spacious and clean. The downside was the very loud karaoke, which could be heard in the rooms and kept several people in our group awake all night.

The karaoke cafe on the 2nd floor was loud enough to hear in my room on the 7th floor, past midnight. It made the night very uncomfortable. The floor in the bedroom was sticky, and the toilet seat had spots and didn’t seem properly sanitized. Parking is in the basement, where space is very limited. I booked through tiket.com and selected a 14.00 late checkout, connecting rooms, and non-smoking rooms. When I arrived to check in at 15.20, the room wasn’t ready. Staff said they had received my reservation through booking.com because of the B2B booking system, so they couldn’t honor any of the options I picked on tiket.com. Those choices felt like a gimmick and left me disappointed. I ended up with separate rooms, and my bedroom smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Housekeeping treated it twice, but the odor remained. I also didn’t get the late checkout, which was the main reason I chose this hotel. I can’t help wondering why they call it a boutique hotel.
