Laska Hotel Sukabumi

Breakfast could use more options. The food tasted decent, though a few dishes were a little too salty. Rooms are clean and roomy, and the price feels fair for what you get. It's a comfortable hotel that's a bit far from the city center, but still easy to reach.

The Arabic main course was my favorite part of iftar at Laska Hotel Sukabumi on March 17th. The kambing guling was rich with spices and went really well with the nasi kabsah. I also liked the savory shawarma, while the spring rolls were just okay. Umm ali had a soft texture and just the right sweetness. The strawberry cake had delicious cream, and I enjoyed the pie susu too. For takjiil, I mostly had fresh fruit, including my favorite watermelon, melon, pineapple, and papaya. The es buah was refreshing, and you could sweeten it yourself with syrup. I had guava juice as well, and tried warm siomay at the live cooking station. It was funny seeing “Seblak Rafael” there, and my friend tried it. The food displays were neat and clean, and the layout made it easy to find the Arabic dishes, desserts, buffet, live cooking stations, and drinks. There was plenty of variety. I was disappointed that the nasi kabsah and kambing guling were already cold at iftar, though. Food warmers would help keep them hot. The venue was beautiful, and its compact layout felt intimate. I could see the sunset from my seat near the pool. One issue was that our table was near a dining area where smoking was allowed, which made my friend, who is allergic to cigarette smoke, uncomfortable. The staff greeted us warmly and were helpful. The security guard even helped me park in the basement, and staff helped us take some nice pictures. Thanks for that. I had a lovely, enjoyable iftar with my friends, and would come back to Laska for another one.

We had an amazing stay at Laska Hotel, and the whole family enjoyed it. Every staff member was polite, with Syahzan and Tiara especially welcoming and helpful. They were wonderful with the children's activities.

We were four people on a family trip and stayed at Laska Sukabumi from Dec 29, 2025 to Dec 31, 2025. The kids especially enjoyed the pool beside the restaurant, and I appreciated having an EV charging station in the lobby. The location also made it easy to get to nearby food spots. Our room was clean and met our expectations. Sani, Evan, Alika, and Firzy at reception were great, as were Feliza at the egg station, Selvi and Refal in the restaurant, Rizki and Rendi from housekeeping, and Pak Hardiana from security. We’d stay here again when we visit Sukabumi.
