Letung Villa

After many years of traveling to Bali, I finally found this wonderful place and was lucky enough to stay for four months. Letung Villa is incredibly beautiful, with a pool that has a stunning view. I loved watching the stars at night. The bathroom is top notch, with a bathtub, the kitchen is spotless, and the bed is very comfortable. The owner and staff are all so friendly, helpful, and lovely. I honestly didn't want to leave and hope I can return soon. 🧡 A big thank you to Pak Wayan, Ibu Martia and Pak Agung!

The gardens and all that greenery make the place feel like a quiet refuge from everyday noise. Vila Letung has a nice mix of modern comfort and traditional style, and the setting is really peaceful.

We left three weeks before our booked checkout, and AirBnb offered to cover our next place because things had become so awful. My girlfriend and I were sick throughout the stay, with painful acne, headaches from when we first arrived, and stomach problems that often made us throw up. The villa was frequently full of smoke because the whole village burns its garbage, including plastic, styrofoam, batteries, and all sorts of other trash. I can only imagine this working for someone who spends just a few minutes at a time in the villa. If you plan to be there much, be prepared to get sick. We won't return to this village, and I strongly recommend staying elsewhere until the problem is resolved. For context, I first posted this on December 16th, 2022 while my girlfriend and I were still staying at the villa. The landlord angrily harassed and bullied us into removing our reviews. DO NOT COME HERE.

It was a small, peaceful place, and the staff were great hosts. They handled every request much faster than I expected. I'd happily pick this villa for another Bali stay.
