Lorin Dwangsa Solo Hotel

The service at dwangsa lorin was excellent, and it was a really good hotel choice. We were in a moderat room, though I couldn't find the main light switch. There was only a corner light and one by the bathroom, so it felt too dim at night when we needed to do something. The bathroom had all the amenities, but maybe it could use some fragrance. Thanks for having us, we enjoyed the stay and would definitely come back if we get the chance. THANK U DWANGSA LORIN

The mosquitoes were a problem, probably because the garden wasn't well cared for. The pond water was green, with only one or two fish that looked miserable, and the pool was green too. I wasn't sure if that was intentional, but I skipped swimming. I've stayed at lots of resort style and nature themed hotels, especially ones with fish ponds, and this one didn't meet my expectations. The hotel has its own unique touch, but staff just watched while we carried a lot of luggage, and our room wasn't accessible by elevator. I stayed one night for a short escape. Would I return? I don't think so, not even to their Lorin resort.

The bed was fairly comfortable, but the TV didn't work and the water stopped in the morning. When I complained about the TV that night, the receptionist said someone would come, but nobody did. It took a long time to sort out the water too. The location was ordinary. Since the basic functions weren't working, I can't recommend it.

A lot of people, me included, assumed this was the same hotel as Lorin, rather than just part of the same group. They're different in both location and facilities. It's a bit far from the main road, so you need to drive in. The rooms are standard, and the bathroom was disappointing, especially the shower, which only had a thin stream of water instead of spraying properly. Breakfast was ordinary with limited choices for a four star hotel, and there weren't enough seats for the number of guests.
