I spent four nights on the third floor. The room went uncleaned for days until I asked the staff to clean it, and small ants kept showing up and waking me at night. There’s no lift, and nobody offered to help with my luggage. Some nearby buildings are empty and dark after nightfall, and there’s a graveyard behind the hotel. You can see its sign and gate to the right of the hotel, which made the place feel a little creepy. I didn’t realize my booking didn’t include breakfast, and I ate breakfast for two days. The restaurant staff only asked for my room number, without explaining anything, and I was charged at checkout. It was my fault for not reading the booking carefully, but I think the staff, especially in the restaurant, should have reminded me. People recommend this hotel, but honestly, if your plans are in Sukoharjo, staying in Solo would be much better.

The friendly reception and security staff were a plus, but the room had a lot of problems. It was tiny, the AC didn’t cool properly, the hot water didn’t work, and the shower barely worked. Everything looked old, and there’s no elevator, so I had to carry all my luggage up to the third floor. I stayed during the Ied holiday and had few options near my destination, so I took the room anyway. It was very pricey, maybe because it was peak season, and didn’t feel worth it.

The menu has lots of variety, the food tastes delicious, and the prices are cheap. It’s a good, cozy place to hang out with family or friends. The lighting is really dark, though, so it’s not good for working or reading.

Small but comfortable hotel in central Sukoharjo, near the government offices. There’s a parking area, and you can spot it clearly from the road.
