The pool and generous room were standouts, and I slept really well in the comfortable bed. I spent 3 days and 2 nights at Kandora Luxury Villa, where the modern design still has local character. The food was consistently good, and the staff were warm and attentive. It was an easy place to unwind, and I’d gladly return to East Sumba.

Our two nights flew by, and I wish we’d had longer. From the welcome coconuts to the tasty meals, Iwan and the team made us feel looked after, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. We swam in the pool and ocean, had excellent massages by the beach, and enjoyed the lovely location, design, rooms, and fast Wi-Fi. A perfect first taste of Sumba. Highly recommend.

With only 5 villas, it has a lovely boutique feel, and the team were caring and welcoming. The beach massage, exquisite food, and top-notch service made this little paradise by far our best experience in Indonesia.
