We felt very comfortable and had everything we needed at this clean, well-organized hotel in Sumbawa Besar. There’s even a prayer mat in the room, and secure parking for motorbikes, which was excellent. The owner was professional, serious, and very helpful, and speaks very good English. The staff were attentive and kind, and made us feel welcome. Magnificent hotel, and we’re grateful for their service and kindness. I’d give it more than five stars if I could!

We stopped here on the way to lakeys and were glad we did. It’s a small hidden gem with everything you need, a comfy bed, a good shower, and a lovely owner. Definitely recommend.

The guest house is in a quiet spot, near a supermarket and some warungs with delicious food. It’s basic, but had everything we needed for a short stay. It’s a bit far from the city center, though there’s a shuttle or you can rent a scooter at a reasonable price. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly, among the friendliest people I met on my trip. They let us check in early after a long journey, gave us nearby restaurant recommendations and tips for a trip to Moyo Island and a whale shark tour. The owner also helped us figure out public transport to our next destination, which we couldn’t have managed without speaking Indonesian. We were able to leave our luggage here while staying on Moyo Island. Thank you, team Khalifah Guesthouse.

For two nights, my husband and I just wanted somewhere clean and comfortable, and this was a great fit. The staff were incredibly helpful: they arranged a well-priced scooter, did our laundry very cheaply, and organized a delicious breakfast. The room was air conditioned, comfortable, and clean, and the Wi-Fi was great. This part of Sumbawa Besar is lovely. I’d recommend the place to anyone, and hope to come back one day.
