Hotel Asri Sumedang

The location is still great for a short visit to this little town, but this stay was unpleasant. We came back and found our rooms poorly maintained: a broken tap and a bathtub that leaked enough to leave the bathroom wet when used. The restaurant smelled bad and was dirty, as it hadn't been cleaned properly after guests ate. The front desk was less helpful too, perhaps because it was the holiday season. It's a shame, and I'm unsure we'd stay again if the facilities keep getting worse from poor upkeep.

Breakfast was delivered to our room during the pandemic, and the pool was temporarily unavailable. The food was simple and just okay. The room was spacious, though the bed wasn't very big. Everything worked, but there was no hairdryer.

The food was good, with plenty of breakfast choices. I especially liked the fresh fruit and salad. I was here for a four-day, three-night training, and the room was comfortable and spacious, with a green view when it rained. They supplied lots of useful things, including tissues, toiletries, and a shower cap. Big quotes on the walls caught my eye almost everywhere we walked.

I stayed with my sister, but found only one toothbrush. Was I supposed to share it? The kettle was dirty, and when I asked for a clean one they brought back the same dirty kettle, saying they were all hard to clean. There were lots of mosquitoes too. This place wasn't for me.
