Unprofessional!! I booked through Agoda and transferred the payment, choosing an arrival time of 8:00-9:00 pm. Traffic held me up on the way, so I got there at 9:15. There was no one at the inn, not even a guard. The app had no contact number, so I called the number on the sign out front several times, but nobody answered. After waiting about half an hour, I called again. The reply was unpleasant: “Why are you only coming now? The deadline is 8 pm. I waited, nobody came, so I went home. Just come in tomorrow, or ask for a refund if you don't want to.” I explained why I was late, but they blamed me, wouldn't listen, and hung up. I was surprised the deadline was 8 when I had booked an arrival time until 9. Someone should have been on standby at the inn. We couldn't get a refund, so we stayed there waiting until 10:30 pm. I wasn't the only guest stranded. Three others were also trying to find somewhere else to stay that night. Please write down the rules or put them in the app you're working with. Guests make arrangements through the app, not directly with the owner or caretaker. It's a shame if other guests have the same experience: arriving tired after a long trip from out of town, hoping to rest, and running into problems like this.

The staff were nice, which was about the only good thing here. My room was damp and stuffy because the window wouldn't open, and there was just one power outlet. The mattress was hard, basically springs rather than a proper mattress, and the sheets and pillows smelled bad. The room had almost nothing in it besides the mattress and pillow. The bathroom was dirty and didn't have a toilet brush, and the owner was unprofessional. One night cost 80,000 Rupiah, and booking through the app wasn't possible. If you're thinking of coming, I'd suggest showing up and inspecting the room first, then paying only if you're okay with all those limitations.

The app said check-in was available around the clock, and it was the cheapest option, but I still couldn't get my money back. I was given a 10:00 check-in time, yet when I arrived there wasn't anyone there at all. What a mess.

I didn't stay the night. After seeing the place, I found somewhere else nearby that was higher up and seemed more worthwhile, and I accepted that there'd be no refund. The room photos on Agoda and Google Maps look good, but the reality is a long way from them: cheap, shabby, and dirty. The room is in the lowest building, while the building shown looking good on Agoda is neglected and dirty, and is being used as a motorbike parking lot. It doesn't seem like the accommodation is being run seriously. One star says enough. I feel bad for people who travel all the way here.
