Amaris Hotel Embong Malang - Surabaya

The hotel isn't new, but it's kept up well. The staff always greeted me with a smile and seemed excited to help. I left my sunglasses behind by accident, then came back three weeks later and they had kept them safe.

Breakfast is on the M level, and the continental spread of Indonesian food was tasty and all you can eat. There's also a welcome drink at the front desk, though the lobby itself is small. The room, however, was very small and not very clean. The king-size bed was old, the TV was tiny, and there were small bugs crawling near the bed and in the bathroom. The bathroom towels were very old and didn't look clean either.

The room, location, and service were all okay, and breakfast was better than I expected. I'd recommend it for a stopover, a solo trip, or a business stay.

I stayed at Amaris hotel,Embong Malang for 20 days, from November,02,2022 until November,22,2022. It made for a wonderful visit to Surabaya,Indonesia, and I'm glad I booked there. The streets outside Amaris Hotel,Embong Malang,Surabaya,Indonesia had so many different kinds of food at very, very good prices. Everyone was kind, friendly, and helpful. The room service staff were respectful and professional, and I won't forget Fathul from the cleaning room services. He'd knock kindly, come in with a happy face, and was always so nice at work. The front desk and lobby staff were also friendly, and if something came up in my room, they'd take care of it right away. The security staff treated me and my family with respect whenever they visited. One small suggestion: make the hot and cold water dispenser in the hallway near the elevator easier to spot. I only learned it was there on my last night, before going back to America. There is a sign, but its color is too dark, and the hallway lights are too dim. Sorry I didn't notice it sooner. It was my first time staying at an Amish hotel, and I'm from America. Thank you to Amaris hotel and all the staff and employees for making the end of my visit so great. Thank you for everything.
