The breakfast buffet includes bread, eggs, Indonesian dishes, and jamu, the traditional Indonesian herbal drink. Rooms are clean and fairly spacious for an affordable rate, and everyone provided great service, from security to reception and room service. A good value for the money. Enjoy your stay in Surabaya!

The breakfast was delicious and had a nice variety, and I’m grateful to the restaurant team for it. Everyone at this beautiful, very clean hotel welcomed me warmly, paid close attention, and responded quickly to everything I needed during my stay. My sincere thanks to all the staff. The 15th-floor restaurant has a lovely view over Surabaya and the Kalimas river, and the service was excellent. Ms. Fira and the reception and security staff were all friendly and courteous, which made me feel welcome. Breakfast tasted good, though there wasn’t much choice. My room was small but had a comfortable bed. The sheets looked worn, and there were stains on the comforter cover that may not have come out. At the sink, only a toothbrush and toothpaste were provided, with no shower cap or bar of hand soap. The hallway water dispenser also looked very worn and could use replacing. It’s a comfortable budget option for a short business trip to Surabaya.

Ms. Silvi and the other staff were friendly, and that made me happy during my stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and I really enjoyed the breakfast. Staying at Batiqa Sby was satisfying, and I’ll recommend it to friends.
