Country Heritage Resort Hotel

There isn't an elevator, the walls are damaged, the mattress is dull, and the toilet leaks. Check the pictures and keep your expectations low, even if the price is the cheapest.

This has been our worst stay in Indonesia so far, after terrible service and what felt like false advertising. The original room smelled awful, and dirty dishes had been left by our door. They said they could fix it by charging us for a better room. The replacement was smaller, though it smelled better. When we asked what the extra payment was for, they said new furniture. They also said we could stay one night and leave. Unfortunately, this is the first time I've felt I had to write a bad review.

We booked two rooms, and both were missing basic amenities: no towels, floor mats, or soap. The bedsheets and pillowcases were stained all over, even with a footprint. One wall was moldy from a leaking AC. I know it's a cheap hotel, but I felt misled because the promised facilities weren't there. I wouldn't recommend it.

I can't recommend Country Heritage Resort Hotel and won't return. It was the most disappointing hotel stay I've ever had, with no proactive communication, a poor first room, and no serious response to my concerns. Before arriving, I had a confirmed agreement with the Sales team for a particular room type for 3 days / 2 nights. At check-in, they said it wasn't available and put me in a different room without warning. That first-night room was not fit to stay in: the air conditioning didn't work, the bathroom couldn't be used to a basic standard, and the room overall fell far below reasonable expectations for a paying guest. I wasn't moved to the room they'd promised until the next day, so I had to spend a night in substandard accommodation. This caused considerable inconvenience and disrupted our plans. The compensation for that was minimal and felt dismissive. I also tried to escalate the issue through a personal connection to management, but got no response or resolution. That showed a failure in guest care and accountability.
