The lobby seemed okay when I first came in, and I tried to stay positive. But the floor outside the elevator was pitch black, with no lights apart from what came from the hallway. The room door was broken, and inside it was damp and smelled like wet things. I asked to switch rooms, then got one that smelled like pee that hadn't been flushed for days. I nearly cried. It was only a transit stay, but I couldn't sleep at all. The sheets and towels were shabby, the AC wasn't cold, and the TV wouldn't turn on. The elevator kept having errors, so I had to use the stairs, and those were really dark too. The hallway by the stairs smelled of flowers. This was a sudden trip, so I had no choice but to stay here, but I won't stay again. Please improve the services. Thank you.

I had no choice but to stay because it was a last-minute transit booking and there were no rooms left at nearby hotels. The room was uncomfortable and nothing like the photos. I booked two double beds for two adults and two kids, and paid almost double, but they gave us just one queen bed. The one towel looked unclean, and when I asked, they said there were no rooms left and no more towels. The toilet smelled awful, and the pillow looked very old and not very clean. They gave us only one pillow, hanging there like a very old towel. I really wouldn't recommend this RedDoorz. It was the worst place I've stayed.

This old motel is poorly maintained and very dirty. Some facilities don't work right, and there was corrosion on the steel fixtures. I also found hair in the wastafel before checking in, and the door was very hard to open. At least the aircon worked well.

It's in the middle of Surabaya, with a few minimarkets nearby, and seems suitable for backpackers. The cafe menu was pretty standard for prices that felt high. The room was small, there was no hot water, and the view from the window wasn't nice. I also had trouble with the door and key sometimes.
