8/10
At the discounted price, the room was good, with a cool AC, comfortable bed, and nice design. Breakfast was good too. The bathroom felt bare and didn’t have enough toiletries. Its shower door kept swinging open, so water leaked out and left the floor wet despite the bath mat by the door. A good hotel when the price is low, and worth trying then.

The breakfast buffet offers plenty of options, from local food to Western-style and other international dishes. Rooms are clean and spacious, and the hotel is beautiful. On the upper floors, the city views are spectacular.

The hotel’s cleanliness needs a lot of work, pandemic or not. The lobby had no air conditioning, and the room didn’t meet what I’d expect from a four-star hotel. The wooden door frame was peeling, the bathroom was dirty, the towels were blackish, and the sheets and pillowcases were yellowish. The carpet was damp and smelly. Bathroom amenities weren’t set up properly, and cockroaches and mosquitos added to the mess. The swimming pool wasn’t available, and the area around it was dirty and poorly maintained. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The room service was really nice, and there are lots of different foods to choose from. I especially liked the croissant. The interior has an amazing luxury style, and the food is better. The swimming pool water was a bit cold, but that was okay. Very recommended.

It was my first stay. The room was big and cozy, but there weren’t any vanities or even tissue, and there was no hot water. Breakfast was really awful, and the FO wasn’t very nice. With the pandemic, I don’t think the hotel was ready to receive guests.
