Griyo Mulyo Hotel Surabaya by RedDoorz

HOS Cokroaminoto museum is about a five-minute walk away, and it's where Indonesia's first president lived. You're also in the city center, close to City Hall and shopping malls. For an afternoon hangout, try Skate & BMX Park at Ketabang Kali. Food and drinks there are seriously, very, very cheap. The hotel itself is okay for a budget stay booked through Red Doorz, but it needs a lot of work, especially with dust everywhere. Mosquitoes may keep you company while you wait for your Go-Food order, too. The night shift guy was no help at all, just staring at his phone, eyes and hands stuck to it. Better to wait for the morning staff, the girl with hijab. She's the nicest. I think I'll come back, though. I'll bring an extension cable and mosquito repellent. Haha.
