The bed, AC, TV, and everything else in the room worked perfectly. There were towels, a bath mat, and amenities too. My single room was reasonably clean, though some spots were still dusty and there was dust and a stain in the bathroom. I couldn’t tell whether the hot water was unavailable or just not working at the time. It’s a good place for the affordable price. If you’re coming back late, you may need another way in because several gates will already be closed. The door itself isn’t locked, but you have to push it a bit harder, so it can look locked from outside. There may be nobody at reception.

Most things were pretty good, but the water suddenly stopped for about 30 minutes while I was showering. Maybe other guests were showering at the same time and that caused the water in my room to cut off. I was alone and panicked. I hope they fix it quickly, or maybe guests should avoid showering at the same time.

The service was great, and they’ll clean the room if you ask. It’s a comfortable place to stay in Surabaya and good value for a longer stay. Just don’t count on a window in a single room, most of them aren’t in a corner, so they have none.

I stayed in an affordable single room. It was quiet and fairly clean, and the staff were friendly. The place is in the city center, so it worked well for a short trip or a rest. There’s some maintenance needed, though. The ceiling had mold, possibly from poor air circulation or the lack of a window. Still, it was okay overall.

Worst hotel stay I’ve had. There were lots of rats, the air conditioning didn’t work, and reception was unfriendly. It was also far from the nearest street vendors and mini market.
