Really weird experience. I booked well ahead, then the place suddenly canceled on me a day before. Getting the money back also comes with another admin fee, so be careful if you don't want to lose money.

The room was clean, comfortable, and the AC worked, so the room itself was good. But when I arrived around 11 PM, nobody was on duty and the front door was open. I had no idea who to call, and the listed number rang without anyone picking up. Luckily a local person and a man in room 1 on the third floor helped point me in the right direction. Without them, guests could've been really confused. Please improve the service, because the rooms are actually nice.

I booked far in advance so I could relax knowing I already had somewhere to stay and just check in when I arrived. Instead, they canceled it on their own 👎. Since there's a refund feature, I guess that means they can just cancel like that, right? ☺

Getting here from Bungurasih Terminal is easy: take the Trans Surabaya bus and get off right outside. For 100,000 rupiah, the room and area seem worth the price. The downside is that the main entrance gets locked at certain times, so you have to contact the owner to get in. If you're mendang mendang (traditional Indonesians), this probably isn't the place for you.
