6/10
The hotel’s location and facilities are excellent. Room service calls could be handled better, though. I called from my room to ask about the restaurant, but the call was cut off before I finished. It may have been a busy time, but consistent, proper handling of calls would help.

The front office attendants were really nice. The room was wonderful, with a modern, fantastic interior and an amazing bed. Its location is strategic and very close to Surabaya Pasar Turi Station.

The rooms are on the small side, but very clean. The hotel is well located near the city center and places to eat. Parking is very limited, so you’ll need to use the valet, though the staff doing it are courteous and professional.

The breakfast is good and the hotel itself is good. But after staying here for the last 15 days, I was told I have to pay for the empty dishes they provided in the room for food brought from outside. I’ve never encountered that anywhere in my life, across the 58 countries I’ve visited. They should put this in the booking information beforehand. I’m checking out tomorrow and won’t stay here again, or at any IBIS anywhere in the world.

Quiet neighborhood, with plenty of cafes and restaurants down the street. The room and service are top notch, just as expected from this brand.
