I really liked this hotel. The rooms were excellent, the location was convenient, and breakfast had lots of delicious choices. Everyone I dealt with was kind and helpful, from security and reception to the dining team and housekeeping. Nothing to complain about, really. A couple of additions would help: an ironing area on every floor and a hairdryer in each room.

Right in the middle of Surabaya and close to Tunjungan Plaza, so the location is great. Parking is limited, but security were there to help park the car with their valet service inside the hotel area.

Monica at reception made a big difference to my stay. She was warm, professional, and went out of her way to make me feel welcome and help me out. The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the amenities were all I needed for a relaxing trip. I had a wonderful time at Midtown Hotel, and I'd definitely return. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a great stay and caring service.

The staff were patient and very helpful, and the room had some good facilities. It could use a little maintenance, though. The restaurant also needs more menu choices compared with hotels at a similar level nearby. The location is handy for a Surabaya holiday, on a main road in the city center and close to lots of facilities and places to visit. Overall, it was okay.
