Spacious Comfortable 1BR Apartment at My Tower Surabaya

The whole building feels worn out and the rooms aren't looked after. It was extremely dirty, especially the bed, and the sheets were unclean.

I left without eating the breakfast and moved to another hotel. I'd booked this place with breakfast through Traveloka after seeing the nice pictures, but at check-in the receptionist said it was nasi kotak to collect from reception between 8 and 9 a.m. The room was dim, and the blanket and sheet were dirty. I asked for clean bedding right away, but they didn't change it until the following morning when they cleaned the room. I guess housekeeping isn't available around the clock. The bathroom was dirty too, with no amenities. When my mom opened the wardrobe to put our things away, it broke and nearly fell on her. What a bad experience.

I booked two nights, and each room they showed me was worse than the one before. They said the room they first offered was one of their best, but it was just as dirty as the apartment and crawling with cockroaches. After I complained a lot, they said they'd move me the next day to the hotel on other floors of the same building. People book it for a few hours to enjoy themselves and then leave, if you get what I mean.

The room looked run down, almost like work was still going on, and the hotel hadn't shown anything like this in its photos or mentioned it. As soon as we walked into our non-smoking room, we could smell smoke. The sheets were stained and dirty, with hair on the bed and floor. The bathroom had been neglected too, with dirt and soap scum on the floors, walls, sink, and mirror. Even the hotel walls and floors were dirty and covered in stains, which made me uneasy about cleanliness from the moment we arrived.
