Stay.vie Hotel

The rooms were nice and quite spacious for two, and I did appreciate that. But the stay with my family was disappointing. We booked several rooms for around two nights, and although I didn't expect too much from a three-star hotel, I still expected it to be safe and hygienic. It also didn't feel very foreigner-friendly. If you want something better, I'd choose another hotel. We had noise problems in all our rooms. Sound from outside came through so easily that I could hear people in the next room turning off their lights. In the morning, the breakfast area blasted music through speakers, so getting more sleep wasn't really possible. There was also a lizard in my room on the first night, despite me not having opened any door before I found it. Maybe that's normal to some people, but I hate lizards and don't think one should be inside a room if it's meant to be hygienic. My key kept needing to be renewed at reception every day after I went out, even though I hadn't put it near my phone. Some staff were helpful, but others were among the worst I've dealt with. They don't speak English, which made things difficult. One morning reception called to tell me something I couldn't understand. I politely asked if they could speak English so I could understand, and the staff member just said, “No!” and hung up. I understand if someone has trouble speaking English, but at least trying would be better and help improve the service. I felt really bad and wouldn't come back.

For IDR 300K, we got a clean, comfortable, really spacious room in this 3-star hotel in central Surabaya. It had a balcony and a smart TV, which is handy whether you smoke or not. The staff and reception were friendly and helpful, too. Such a great stay, I'll definitely be back. This deserves to go viral! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The room was bright, clean, and comfortable, with a cozy bed and nice decorations, and it felt worth the price. The hotel has a modern, stylish look inside and out. Its location is fairly strategic, around 30 minutes from the city center by bike.

Great atmosphere, lovely staff, and tasty food. A perfect spot to meet up with friends or family.
