Tab Hotel

What made TAB Hotel feel special was how warmly the staff treated us. From arrival through departure, they listened to our questions and requests and responded with real care. Every interaction felt kind and personal, and we left feeling we'd been looked after. The location was handy for getting around Surabaya, with landmarks, 24-hour shops, cafes, and pharmacies nearby. The surrounding area has good infrastructure too, so it worked well as a base for exploring on foot. We'd happily recommend TAB Hotel to people who value attentive, genuinely warm service, and we'd give it our highest rating.

The bed sagged so badly that it made my back pain worse, and the room was filthy. There were stains and dirt on the walls and sheets, hard water marks, and toilet paper left by the previous guest. Sleep was difficult too. I could hear activity throughout the hotel, including toilet flushing, the reception doorbell, and the maids knocking on doors, along with noise from the road. The location is the only good thing about this hotel. I wouldn't stay here again.

For the price, it's generally a good place, but room quality seems to be luck of the draw. We rented two rooms, and mine seemed older than the other one. The AC was extremely loud, then stopped working the next day. I reported it, but they couldn't fix it, so they moved me from the second floor to a nicer room on the fourth floor at no extra charge.

The staff were really great, even the security guards, and that's what would bring me back. I stayed in a standard room, which was clean, fresh, and good for such an affordable price. They provided a toothbrush, toothpaste, a small bar of soap, and a towel. For free drinking water any time, there's a gallon near the lift, and each room has glasses and a jug.
