Griya Teratai Luxury Guesthouse

My family stayed in a family room with two bedrooms, each with a double bed, plus a bathroom and living room. It was generally clean and tidy when we arrived, and I’m allergic to dust but did okay during the stay. My father needs an oxygen concentrator all the time to help him breathe, and we could bring one even though it uses a lot of power. I think they’d allow a hairdryer too, but it’s better to ask first. The lighting was dim and uncomfortable for my eyes. There also wasn’t a garden view from the family room.

The staff were really nice, and the room was clean with good AC and a water heater. It’s close to Solo Paragon Mall and lots of culinary spots, which was the best part for me. The location is down a small street beside the mall, so it can be hard to find, but Google Maps gets you there. I loved the family room at Kesuma Teratai Guest House: two rooms, each with a queen bed, and a small living room where we could eat together. It normally costs 400K IDR, but I got a special price through traveloka apps. Wi-Fi was okay for YouTube and streaming, though not for playing dota. I’d recommend it to friends and family visiting Solo.

Cheap for a family trip and near paragon mall, but the owner is now really annoying. She closes the hotel at 10 PM, or earlier when all the guests are in their rooms. I asked for a late checkout and she refused, saying she wanted to close the hotel and also mentioning traveloka for a personal reason. It’s affordable, but the choice is yours.

Near paragon mall and food stalls. The room and service were good, and breakfast was brought to the room. The decor is unique, and it’s very good value.
