Meno Suites

I booked four days at first because some reviews had made me unsure, but after seeing the place I extended for ten. I wish I could have stayed longer. I really enjoyed the pool, and the bedroom and bathroom were enclosed and soundproofed, so I didn’t have to worry about bugs or noise. Yawny and Putra kept my room and pool clean, and brought a great breakfast with a warm smile every morning. I’d highly recommend Meno Suites.

I booked mainly for the private pool, but it was dirty, with lots of insects, leaves, and other debris. Staff came promptly when we asked them to clean it, but only cleared the surface. Dead bugs and dirt remained at the bottom, and swimming stirred them up until the water looked murky. That really took away from the stay. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable and noticeably poor quality for the price. I’ve stayed in places up to eight times cheaper with much better bedding. The bathroom had a constant bad smell, and both the tap and shower water tasted salty. The bikes were another disappointment. Rentals were expensive for bikes in poor condition, with broken brakes or flat tires that made some unsafe or almost impossible to ride. The rates for services felt inflated, while the quality and comfort often fell short. I also liked the peaceful, private feel of the location, the effective AC, and the handy fridge and kitchen sink outside the room. The pool was a nice size for couples or small families. They offered bike rentals, and could arrange horse-drawn carriages for luggage.

We had a great time at Meno suites. The staff were very friendly and made the stay enjoyable, and the food was really nice. Our room had a plunge pool, a lovely spot to relax, and the beach was just a few minutes away on foot.

We had such a good time here, the best five days of our whole trip. The suite was exactly as described, comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The property is well looked after and sits in a quiet part of the island, while the beautiful beach is still less than a five-minute walk away. I can’t recommend it enough and can’t wait to return.
