The design feels a little dated, but the facilities are complete and well looked after. The room was clean and comfortable, and the overall stay felt very pleasant. Since it’s easy to get around Solo from here, it works well for business or a leisure trip. I’d consider coming back.

The restaurants are a nice part of the stay. The garden restaurant has tasty food and a pet-friendly area, and breakfast at the main restaurant had lots of choices, all delicious. Both restaurants have poolside sections. The hotel handled our things with real integrity, too. My family left a lot behind when we checked out in a rush, and they looked after everything until we could collect it. The room was clean and comfortable, with warm local hospitality. The hotel is in the middle of food and cultural attractions, and on Sunday mornings you can enjoy car-free day. One of Solo’s best for service, in my view. Definitely worth a second, third, or even more visits.

The gym was the best equipped one I’ve seen, and the poolside breakfast area was huge. The spread was hearty and gave a clean, hygienic introduction to Indonesian food. Novotel and IIbis share facilities, so the atmosphere is lively and it feels like you get two properties for one. The property is central but quiet. I had a great four-night stay, with super polite, helpful staff who were clearly focused on service. Special thanks to Ms Arimbi at reception and Ms Ulima, who helped with recommendations and our plans ahead like a concierge would. A wonderful experience.

The booking process was smooth thanks to Chichi from the sales team. She was professional, proactive, friendly, and careful with the details. The whole team was quick and attentive, and handled every request promptly. From arrival onward, the service was outstanding, with staff who were genuinely warm and ready to help. My room was spacious, very clean, modern, and well maintained. The bed was perfect for a good night’s sleep, and the pool and gym added a lot to the stay. Novotel Solo offers comfort and good value. I’ll return on my next visit to Solo. Thanks to everyone there.

Yasmin at reception was exceptionally helpful, friendly, and professional throughout my stay. Her warm hospitality made a real difference and left a great impression. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the hotel is easy to get to. I had a wonderful stay at Novotel Hotel Solo and would recommend it to anyone visiting Solo.
