OYO 2095 Wisma Daun

There’s a fair amount provided: the room has hot water, toothbrushes and toothpaste, towels, and drinks, and it’s quite spacious. The catch is that the room is on the second floor above the parking area, and getting upstairs is uncomfortable, with a twisting metal staircase. A room is limited to two people; extra guests need an extra bed for 50k per night. The place is in an alley, not far from the city, but staying here can make Grab car trips a bit costly.

It’s handy being in the middle of town, with food and snacks easy to find. My room was clean enough and had a TV, AC, and hot water. There’s plenty of parking, but the guest house is down a residential lane that fits only one car, so two cars can’t pass each other. Service was just ordinary. During my two-night stay, I got only two small bottles of mineral water and two face towels. Don’t book through OYO. Management said they no longer work with OYO, but the place was still listed there and could be booked. They need to fix the system and make things more comfortable for guests.

The rooms are spacious, and there’s plenty of covered parking. The amenities are in line with the price. Staff were all friendly and very helpful, and they let guests stay even when the room’s capacity is exceeded, for a small extra fee.

The service was good, and the place is decent for under 200,000 Rupiah a night. I had a nice stay, though the sinks could be cleaner and there should be tissues and basics like soap, a toothbrush, and shampoo available.
